You can find individual semen doses for purchase in the shop.
Basically, the price refers to a single, full dose of frozen stallion semen, which consists of several straws. You will find out how many straws there are when shipping, because then it is clear from which production batch you will be supplied. In addition, you find an information about the number of straws in the description.
By paying, you first acquire a semen release that is valid for 1 month.
During this time you have to transfer the semen to your inventory, i.e. either you notify the respective semen depot that the semen should be transferred to your account, or you order a shipping to a depot of your choice.
Ownership of the semen only passes to you once the semen has been transferred to your inventory.
Therefore, the purchase is only completed when the semen is transferred to your inventory.
Please contact the warehouse where the semen you paid for is stored.
This is stated in the product description or in the email in which you are informed of the release. You can find a list of the depots in the different countries here.
If you miss the release month, you will lose direct access to the semen you purchased.
In this case, please contact Freeze and Breed. You will then receive the invoice for the storage fee since purchase and a new release for one month after payment. If the stallion semen is no longer available, you will receive a credit for the amount you paid. However, the money will not be paid back.
What exactly is a dose of frozen semen?
Overall, one dose of frozen semen meets the minimum requirements of the semen standards according to WBFSH, which means that one dose contains at least 35% progressively forward-moving sperm cells, the total number of which is at least 250 million. A “normal” dose usually consists of 4 to 8 straws.
