Radiant dark chestnut in a fascinating overall appearance, blessed with basic gaits and rideability values of the “extra class” brand. Rubin Rouge is a quick learner and has already been promoted widely. He was highly placed in riding horse tests and completed an excellent stallion performance test in Neustadt/Dosse in 2000. He was eighth out of 50 participating stallions, receiving an excellent result in the rideability section with 127,43 points. The father Rubinstein I had a decisive influence on an entire generation of German dressage horse breeding and was himself an international Grand Prix winner. The dam’s father Warkant, Hanoverian stallion of the year 2002, has already delivered numerous top horses for the Verden auctions and is always omnipresent at the Federal Championships. The granddam Lukesse is the right sister of the former Celle state stud stallion Lenz, who was a highly successful driving horse with outstanding successes at state championships well into his old age.
The dam line has its origins in the area of the former Braunschweig breeding station Thedinghausen and is based on the founding mare Flugreise (by Flugwind-Flachsmann-Fling etc.). The stallions Galvano (Ldb. Celle, stallion performance test winner), Grafenstern, among others, came from this widespread dynasty (PB Holst.), Laudon (Ldb. Dillenb.), Limbo (PB GB), Luciano (PB Olbg., 1975 1a main prize), Lucrativ (PB Bawue.), Marschall (PB Holst., winner of the dressage derby with Karin Rehbein), Weinstern (PB CAN), White Foot (German dressage champion 2000 with Michael Klimke), World Magic (PB Westf.) as well as the DLG champion mare Elfenwache and the internationally successful dressage horses Charmeur 38/Madeleine Winter-Schulze and Flim Flam 7/Susan Blinks (USA).
In 2002, Rubin Rouge presented the winning foal at the foal show in Pritzhagen near Berlin.
Rubin Rouge’s offspring always impress with their rideability and quality of movement.
